Center Mourns Former Trustee Theodore L. Cross

Theodore L. Cross (1924 - 2010)
The Trustees and staff of the National Humanities Center are deeply saddened by the death of Theodore L. Cross on February 28. A Trustee of the National Humanities Center from 1990-1996, he was a generous supporter of the Center's John Hope Franklin Fellowship. Cross's passions and talents were reflected in all that he did, as a publisher, investor, and entrepreneur, as a writer on civil rights issues, and a gifted photographer of birds. He will be missed by all those at the Center whose lives he touched.
